Death of Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks passed away at the age of 92. Her refusal to give up a seat on the bus sparked the famous Montgomery bus boycott leading the way to desegregating the South. While some in the media paint her as woman who did not understand the significance of her actions, Ms. Parks was fully aware of the consequences of violating the law. She deserves our continuing respect and admiration for a simple act of defiance in the face of injustice.
